Swindon Hindu Temple joins Christmas Appeal for Homeless Shelter

Swindon Hindu Temple Trust is pleased to join hands with Christmas Care in its “Christmas Appeal for the Homeless Shelter”. Christmas Care has been running a Christmas Shelter for the Homeless in Swindon for more than 25 years. The homeless are given a safe haven from Christmas Eve to 28 December each year. Christmas Care has requested donations of breakfast cereal, dried pasta, tinned soup, baked beans, tea, coffee, sugar, long life milk, biscuits, as well as warm clothing and toiletries. This year they have a sponsor for bedding, but are grateful for donations of sleeping bags.

We are arranging a drop off point where you may drop off any donations in boxes marked with “Christmas Care” at Swindon Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre, 103 Darby Close, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, Swindon SN2 2PW.
